Srinagar, Aug 30 (KNO): The Election Commission of India on Friday approved posting of four police officers as district police chiefs.
According to a communique sent to J&K Chief Secretary, the Commission said that it has approved posting of Mohd Zaid as SSP, Baramulla, Ghulam Jeelani Wani as SSP Kupwara, Ifroze Ahmad as SP Handwara and Imtiyaz Hussain Mir as SSP Srinagar.
The Commission has asked J&K government to furnish compliance report urgently, the order reads—(KNO)
